The 16.5 inch aluminum-sleeved steel bull barrel is fluted for balance and heat dispersion, finished with a recessed crown for protection, and factory threaded 1/2x28. It uses a 1:16 RH twist for .22 LR and runs a direct blowback action for simple, reliable cycling.
The receiver is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a gold anodize. It includes an integral Picatinny rail for mounting optics, a right-side charging handle, and an extended magazine release. The X-Ring design also incorporates a dual guide-rod recoil system and a rear cleaning port. This is the non-takedown X-Ring configuration.
The Vantage RS laminated hardwood stock provides a thumbhole layout with a rollover comb, palm swell, and stippled panels for grip. It is pillar-bedded and fitted with a rubber buttpad and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
The rifle accepts Ruger 10/22 pattern magazines and comes with one 10-round rotary magazine. No sights are installed from the factory.
