The CSX’s aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight down to 19.5 oz unloaded while maintaining a solid, durable feel. The stainless steel slide and 3.1 in stainless barrel feature a matte black Armornite finish for corrosion resistance and a uniform appearance.
Controls are set up for carry-friendly handling: a single-action, hammer-fired system with an external hammer, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and an ambidextrous slide stop/release. A loaded chamber viewport provides a quick visual status check.
The slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations and anti-glare top serrations for confident manipulation and sight tracking. Sights are white 3-dot and dovetailed front and rear, making replacement or adjustment straightforward.
Ergonomics are enhanced by black textured polymer grip panels and interchangeable backstraps, allowing the shooter to tailor the grip to hand size. The pistol is marked on the slide with “CAUTION: CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED,” indicating there is no magazine disconnect.
