It comes with six magazines and a set of spare components, including an aluminum top rail/handguard and mounting hardware, not installed.

The SOCOM 16 configuration centers on a 16.25-inch barrel and a SOCOM-style multi-port cylindrical muzzle brake that tames muzzle rise while keeping overall length to approximately 37.25 inches (factory spec). With the included 30-round magazines, capacity is up to 30+1.
Its sighting system uses an adjustable aperture (ghost-ring) rear and a wing-protected front post mounted on the gas lock/gas cylinder, offering a robust setup well-suited to the platform. A two-stage trigger and a 13.0-inch length of pull support consistent control.
The rifle features a full-length hardwood M14-profile stock with a side sling ring on the fore-end and a rear sling swivel. A ribbed black polymer top handguard is installed in the current configuration.
Receiver heel marking reads "US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" with "SOCOM 16" on the right side. The bolt is marked "7790186-SA" over "F00158."
