The Daniel Defense DDPCC is a recent-release AR-9 pistol built around a dedicated blowback system with a hydraulic buffer and fully ambidextrous controls. It features an 8.3 in cold hammer forged stainless S2W heavy-profile barrel threaded 1/2x28 with a 1:10 twist. This example includes a compact fluted front-ported muzzle device plus installed M-LOK handstop and rail panels, and it accepts CZ Scorpion–pattern magazines with a 35+1 capacity.

The DDPCC uses dedicated shortened AR-pattern upper and lower receivers and a semi-automatic blowback action tuned with a hydraulic buffer. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the selector, proprietary push-button magazine release, bolt catch, and charging handle.
Its 8.3 in cold hammer forged stainless S2W heavy-profile barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and paired with a 1:10 twist for 9mm Luger. A compact, fluted, front-ported muzzle device is installed. The barrel and receiver set are finished in matte black.
The pistol feeds from CZ Scorpion–pattern magazines and is compatible with the Magpul PMAG 35 EV9. Capacity is 35+1. This example ships with five 35-round polymer magazines.
Furniture includes a DD4 7.0 free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard with a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail. The upper has no forward assist and no ejection-port dust cover. An adjustable 5-position brace and a Daniel Defense polymer pistol grip with molded texture complete the setup.
Overall length is approximately 22.5–27 in, and weight is about 5.9 lb. The receiver is marked DDPCC, and the pistol is made in the United States.
