This Talon II is a commander-length, USA-built Nighthawk Custom 1911 that combines a 4.25 in stainless barrel with precise slide work, proven controls, and premium fitment under the One Gun, One Gunsmith philosophy. It features a Trijicon tritium front blade, a low-mount ledge rear sight, and crisp single-action operation. Included factory QC paperwork and a test target dated 08-19-25 add clear provenance tied to this pistol.
The slide is a flat-top with longitudinal serrations and rear cocking serrations only, paired with a lowered and flared ejection port. Ergonomics are enhanced by a checkered front strap, a flat checkered mainspring housing, and a blended two-piece magazine well funnel for fast reloads. A skeletonized aluminum tri-cavity trigger and skeletonized hammer complete the performance-focused controls.
Dimensions are compact and carry-friendly without sacrificing shootability: overall length 7.85 in, height 5.4 in, width 1.40 in (slide width 0.92 in), with an empty weight of approximately 34.7 oz. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP. Red checkered wood grip panels with Nighthawk medallions provide a secure hold and a classic, purposeful look.
Markings include NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM with the hawk logo and NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM BERRYVILLE, AR USA on the slide, as well as TALON. The front sight is marked Trijicon F H3 25, confirming tritium illumination. This example comes with two 8-round Nighthawk steel magazines and the original soft case, manual, takedown tool, QC checklist, and factory test target.
