Built on a steel frame with internal slide rails and a separate barrel bushing, the Model 30M delivers the robust construction and precise slide-to-frame fit associated with Star’s service pistols. The 4.25 in barrel pairs with a full-size layout designed around 9mm Luger.
The pistol operates on a DA/SA, short-recoil tilting barrel system. Controls include a smooth curved trigger, a ring-spur hammer, a standard magazine release, and an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety that acts on the firing pin.
Sights are a 3-dot iron setup with a fixed white-dot front blade and a dovetailed, two-dot rear that is drift-adjustable. The slide features a ribbed/serrated top and a scalloped ejection port. Checkered black synthetic grips with STAR medallions complete the service-ready configuration.
Capacity is 15+1 with the double-column magazines, and this pistol comes with two 15-round steel magazines. Rollmarks and stamps include STAR EIBAR ESPAÑA, a GC stamp on the left front of the frame, and MOD. 30M CAL 9mmP.
The 30M served with Spanish military and police users and represents the final era of Star service pistols prior to the company’s closure in 1997.
