The Smith & Wesson CSX is a micro-size, single-action-only 9mm with an aluminum alloy (7075-T6) frame and Armornite-treated stainless steel barrel and slide. This original non–E-Series example has a non-optics-cut slide, ambidextrous manual safety, reversible magazine release, and steel dovetailed 3-dot sights. It combines a compact footprint with a 12+1 capacity and USA-made construction.

The CSX uses a 3.1" stainless steel barrel with an Armornite finish and a matching Armornite slide. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and top anti-glare serrations, plus an external extractor, giving secure manipulation and clean sighting in a compact package.
Its single-action-only, hammer-fired system features an external skeletonized hammer and a flat-faced trigger with an integral blade safety. Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a reversible magazine release. The pistol is built without a magazine disconnect; the slide is marked to indicate it can fire with the magazine removed.
Steel, dovetailed 3-dot sights come standard, with a single white dot up front and two white dots in the rear; the rear sight is drift adjustable. Textured polymer grips with interchangeable backstraps allow fit tuning while maintaining a secure hold.
This original, non–E-Series CSX has a non-optics-cut slide and is marked "CSX" and "9mm Luger," with the frame rollmarked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA USA." Despite its micro size, it carries a 12+1 capacity with the included magazine, offering notable capacity in a compact, USA-made build.
