The VP9A1 F configuration pairs a full-size polymer frame with a steel slide finished in black HE/carbon-nitride. Its 4.53 in steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling. The pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and is set up from the factory with iron sights: a high-visibility green dot front and a black serrated rear notch.
Ergonomics are a hallmark of this series. The frame includes interchangeable grip panels and backstraps to tailor fit, plus an integrated flared magwell to support fast reloads. Controls are fully ambidextrous, with slide stop levers on both sides and HK's paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release.
The slide is optics-ready with a cover plate and features front and rear cocking serrations along with rear charging supports for confident manipulation. A 4-slot Picatinny/M1913 accessory rail on the dustcover accepts compatible lights or accessories.
