The RP63 uses a steel frame, receiver, barrel, and cylinder, giving this compact 3 inch revolver a solid, uniform build. The full underlug and top rib add mass and rigidity at the muzzle, while the fluted six-shot cylinder keeps the profile trim. A knurled ejector-rod tip provides positive purchase during ejection.
Its double-action/single-action system uses an exposed hammer with a hammer-mounted firing pin and hammer-block safety. Chambered for .357 Magnum, it holds six rounds and uses a 1:16.5 right-hand twist in the steel barrel.
Sight configuration is fixed: a pinned, serrated ramp front blade paired with a top-strap groove rear. The pinned front blade is removable, allowing replacement with other pinned blades if desired. The round-butt black rubber grips with pebble texture offer a secure hold.
