The Mark VI action is a DA/SA top-break design with a self-extracting, automatic star-extractor for simultaneous case ejection. Its six-chamber fluted cylinder and carbon steel construction emphasize the robust build associated with British service revolvers of the era.
Sight regulation is provided by a pinned fixed-blade front sight and a fixed notch rear sight integral to the topstrap. The 6 inch barrel features a full-length top rib, and the frame carries "WEBLEY PATENTS" with the W&S winged-bullet trademark.
British military acceptance and inspection broad arrow stamps are present on the right side of the frame, with additional inspection/proof marks on the cylinder. The barrel is stamped ".450/.455," reflecting period-marked caliber information.
