This Circuit Judge uses a swing-out, five-shot fluted cylinder and a double-action/single-action operating system. It is designed for .45 Colt and .410, accepting both 2.5 inch and 3 inch shells for flexible use with a single platform.
The 18.5 inch rifled barrel is paired with a threaded muzzle and a removable straight-rifled choke. The gas-deflector shields at the cylinder gap are built in to direct gasses away from the shooter during firing.
Sight alignment is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic ramped front and a green fiber-optic adjustable rear. The hardwood Monte Carlo stock includes a recoil pad and sling swivel studs, matched to a hardwood fore-end. Length of pull is 14.25 inches.
The carbine wears a blued finish on the receiver and cylinder, complemented by a gold-tone trigger. It features a transfer bar safety. Manufacturer and import marks include BrazTech, L.C. Miami, FL., Made in Brazil by Taurus, and the Taurus bull crest.
