Chinese Type 53 carbine produced in 1955 at Jianshe Arsenal (State Arsenal 26) under Russian technical guidance and based on the Russian M44 design. This Century Arms International import retains the classic Mosin-Nagant features, including a 20.5 inch barrel, an integral right-side folding cruciform spike bayonet, and a fixed 5-round internal magazine that is stripper-clip compatible. It features a blued steel receiver and barrel with a full-length hardwood stock and iron sights.
