The Geissele Super Duty MOD 1 Pistol SD-556 is a purpose-built AR-15 pattern pistol featuring an 11.5 in cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel, Geissele's Reliability Enhanced BCG with Stressproof Bolt, and the SSA-E X two-stage Lightning Bow trigger. It is outfitted with a 10.5 in Super Modular Rail MK16 free-float M-LOK handguard, an Airborne Charging Handle, and a factory HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 5.56. This example is in excellent condition and comes with its factory box and matching label for SKU 08-561B.

The 11.5 in barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined, paired with a carbine-length gas system and a low-profile gas block secured by two set screws. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with a factory HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 5.56.
The Super Modular Rail MK16 (10.5 in) is a free-float aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, an anti-rotation center-tab interface, and integrated QD sling sockets. A continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny top rail runs across the receiver and handguard. The upper includes a forward assist and an ejection-port cover.
Controls are well-appointed with an ambidextrous safety selector and a right-side bolt catch/release complementing an enlarged left-side bolt catch. The Geissele Airborne Charging Handle and the SSA-E X two-stage, flat-faced Lightning Bow trigger are factory components. The Reliability Enhanced BCG features a Geissele Stressproof Bolt.
The aluminum receiver set wears a black finish and is marked GEISSELE AUTOMATICS NORTH WALES, PA with SAFE/FIRE selector legends. The pistol uses an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace with an integral QD socket and hook-and-loop strap, a checkered magazine release, and a textured polymer pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1. Factory specs note approximately 27.75 in collapsed and 30.375 in extended overall length, with an approximate weight of 6 lb. Made in the USA.
