The one-piece solid 7075-T6 aluminum frame integrates Wilson Combat's TRAK texture for secure purchase without added grip panels. The dustcover incorporates a lightrail, and the frame includes a flared magazine well for smooth reloads. A countersunk, flush slide stop pin head adds a clean profile.
The 4.25 in stainless match-grade bushing barrel uses a fluted chamber and fluted barrel hood, finished with a flush-cut reverse crown. The slide is finished in matte Black Armor-Tuff and includes a flattened top with 30 LPI serrations, 40 LPI rear slide serrations, front and rear cocking serrations, carry cuts, a lowered ejection port, and a heavy bottom-edge chamfer.
Controls are classic single-action and hammer-fired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer, a medium-length lightened trigger, and a manual left-side thumb safety. The SFT9 uses iron sights: a Wilson Combat Battlesight rear paired with a red fiber-optic front, yielding a 5.95 in sight radius.
