The Model 17-8 is a K-frame .22 LR target revolver from the late 1990s, identified by its 10-shot aluminum-alloy cylinder and the Model 17-8 marking on the yoke cut. It pairs a blued carbon-steel frame and barrel with a matte black cylinder for a distinctive two-tone look.
The 6-inch heavy barrel includes a full-length underlug and a serrated top rib, providing a stable sighting plane and classic target configuration. The action is double-action/single-action.
Target sights are factory adjustable, with a pinned Patridge front and a micrometer-click adjustable rear. The color case-hardened wide hammer with a checkered spur and the color case-hardened trigger add period-correct detail.
This example has no internal lock and comes fitted with a Hogue Monogrip rubber finger-groove grip. Made in the United States.
