The Mark 23 originates from the OHWS program lineage and carries hallmark features tailored for durability and precision. Its 5.87 in extended barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling and a replaceable O-ring at the muzzle to support consistent lockup. The factory M16x1 RH threading pairs with the included knurled thread protector.
The DA/SA, short-recoil, linkless Browning action is paired with a manual safety and a decocking lever for controlled operation. An ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release supports easy actuation from either side of the trigger guard.
High-profile iron sights, adjustable for windage and elevation, deliver a long 7.76 in sight radius. The raised blade front and adjustable rear provide a clear sight picture suited to the pistol’s full-size format.
The fiber-reinforced polymer frame has a coarse-stippled grip for traction and incorporates the Mark 23’s proprietary universal accessory grooves. The slide features rear serrations, an external extractor, and a faceted profile. This example bears German Ulm proof marks (Bundesadler over N and the Ulm stag antler), the AC date code (2002), and HK, Inc., Sterling, VA import markings, along with Made in Germany frame text.
