The V3 configuration brings an external extractor, a wide frame that runs flush with the slide, and a dedicated 9mm double-stack magazine architecture for 17+1 capacity. The slide is marked STACCATO C with the star logo, and the dustcover carries a small U.S. flag. The underside is marked STACCATO C v3 and FLORENCE, TX USA.
The stainless steel bull barrel is bushingless with a recessed crown, and it works with a tool-less captured recoil system designed for easy maintenance. Forward and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation without adding bulk.
The DPO optics-ready system features an optics cut with a cover plate that retains the rear sight. Sights are a green fiber-optic front and a black rear mounted on the cover plate, providing a clear, fast sight picture out of the box.
The 7075 aluminum frame keeps weight down while the aggressive-textured polymer 2011 grip module offers secure purchase. Controls include a left-side thumb safety and grip safety, a flat-faced, vertically serrated trigger (Atlas unit installed), and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. An integrated accessory rail provides mounting space for compatible lights or accessories.
