The XSeries XCompact configuration features the modular, serialized fire-control unit (FCU) at the core of the P320 system, allowing the grip module, slide, and barrel to be configured around a single serialized chassis. This pistol is manufactured and marked in Newington, NH, USA.
The slide is stainless steel with a Nitron black finish and has front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. It is optics-ready with an optics-cut and a two-screw removable cover plate using the SIG PRO/SIG-LOC pattern.
Sight picture comes from 3-dot tritium night sights, with a tritium front featuring a green ring and a two-dot tritium rear. The striker-fired action uses an X-Series flat-faced trigger, and the non-threaded 3.6 in carbon steel barrel is matched to a compact-length slide.
The compact XCompact grip module includes an extended beavertail, a high undercut for a higher grip, and a mild magwell flare for efficient reloads. An M1913 accessory rail is molded into the frame. Capacity is 15+1, and overall dimensions are 7.0 in long, 5.3 in high, and 1.3 in wide, with an approximate weight of 25.3 oz.
