The EMP architecture shortens the 1911 frame and action around the 9mm cartridge and reduces grip circumference. This scaled approach preserves familiar 1911 ergonomics while tailoring the platform to 9mm dimensions.
The 4 inch forged stainless steel barrel is match grade, bull, and bushingless, with a fully supported ramp and 1:16 twist. A flat-wire recoil spring and full-length guide rod manage cycling in this compact format.
The slide is forged carbon steel with a hot-salt blued finish and rear cocking serrations, with no front serrations. The forged aluminum-alloy frame wears a durable Satin Aluminum Cerakote, producing a clean two-tone presentation.
Sight acquisition is straightforward with a red fiber-optic front and a Tactical Rack white-dot rear. Controls include a thumb safety, grip safety, and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized, lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the fire-control setup.
