This CS features a 3.5-inch stainless fluted bull barrel and an external extractor, paired with a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable case clearance. The slide wears front and rear serrations for confident manipulation, finished in black to match the frame.
The pistol uses a single-action, hammer-fired system with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A flat-faced, skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer provide a crisp, repeatable trigger press. Sights are a red fiber-optic front and a low-profile rear notch for a bright, precise sight picture.
A tool-less, fully captured Dawson Precision recoil system simplifies takedown and maintenance while keeping the compact package controllable. The textured polymer 2011 grip module provides secure purchase, and the accessory rail includes a single slot for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
Capacity is 16+1 with the included factory steel magazines. Markings include STACCATO CS and 20★11 on the model, with the frame channel marked STACCATO C v3 and GEORGETOWN, TX USA. A CS23 serial prefix is observed on the test target and frame paperwork, aligning with the model’s 2023 introduction and 2025 discontinuation.
