The 4595 TS uses a straight blowback, semiautomatic action chambered in .45 ACP and is built around a 17.5 in steel barrel with a non-threaded, plain-crown muzzle. Overall length is approximately 32 in, with a weight of about 7 lb and a 14.5 in length of pull.
The TS (Target Stock) configuration includes a fixed, skeletonized polymer stock with a recoil pad and cheek rest, finished in black. A ribbed polymer forend provides a secure grasp. Controls include a manual thumb safety, a round charging handle, and a last-round bolt hold-open.
Sighting is via iron sights, with a cast tower front sight featuring a protected post. The top of the carbine has a full-length Picatinny rail spanning the receiver and forend, and there is an additional molded rail section at the 6 o'clock position. The front sight base is marked with the numeral "4".
Magazine capacity is 9+1, and the carbine shares magazines with the Hi-Point JHP45 pistol. One 9-round magazine is included with this rifle.
