A cross-bolt safety is positioned at the rear of the receiver for straightforward operation.
The 20-inch round carbine barrel is made from Winchester Proof Steel and is secured with two barrel bands. Feeding is via a full-length tubular magazine with a 5-round capacity. The rifle carries a uniform blued finish on the barrel and steel receiver.
Sighting is handled by a hooded ramp front sight paired with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight, delivering a clean, traditional sight picture suitable for carbine-length use.
Furniture includes a straight-grip walnut buttstock and matching walnut fore-end with cut checkering for a confident hold. A black Winchester-crest buttplate and a 13.75-inch length of pull complete the classic carbine setup. This example was manufactured in the United States in New Haven, Connecticut.
