The XD(M) full-size format delivers a 19+1 capacity in 9mm with an included pair of 19-round steel double-stack magazines. The forged steel slide wears a stainless/silver finish and carries front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. Two circular medallion-style engravings on the top of the slide add a distinct factory detail.
Its 4.5" match-grade, hammer-forged barrel uses six-groove rifling and a 1:10" right-hand twist. The barrel hood is marked "MATCH" and "9x19," while the slide is marked "XDm-9," with XDm logos molded into the grips.
The striker-fired system integrates multiple passive safeties, including a grip safety, a trigger safety tab, and a loaded chamber indicator. An ambidextrous magazine release supports either hand, and the integral 3-slot accessory rail accommodates lights or other rail-mounted accessories. A full-length guide-rod recoil system supports consistent cycling.
Dovetailed steel sights include a low-profile rear and a robust front. The polymer frame features aggressive molded texturing for a secure hold. This pre-Elite generation configuration bears "MADE IN CROATIA" and "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." markings.
