Patterned on the Winchester Model 1873, this Sporting Rifle variant features a full-length tubular magazine for a 13+1 capacity in .45 Colt and a classic right-side loading gate feeding a brass cartridge carrier. The toggle-link lever action follows the original design for period-correct operation and appearance.
The receiver, lever, and hammer wear a color case-hardened finish, with the barrel and other steel parts blued, including the shotgun-style buttplate. The stock and forend are A-grade walnut with a straight, uncheckered profile and a 13.0 in length of pull.
Sights are traditional and practical: a dovetailed front blade paired with a semi-buckhorn rear that uses a stepped elevator. The 24.25 in octagonal barrel is cut with six-groove rifling and a 1:16 right-hand twist.
