This Model 70 Sporter uses a controlled-round-feed system with a Mauser-type claw extractor for positive feeding and extraction. It incorporates Winchester’s three-position safety and the MOA trigger system for a crisp, consistent pull. The jeweled bolt body and knurled bolt knob add refinement to the action.
The 26-inch polished blued barrel is free-floated with a sporter contour and comes without open sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, with filler screws installed from the factory. Overall finish is a deep blued steel that complements the traditional styling.
The satin walnut stock includes cut checkering, a shadowline cheekpiece, and an ebony-style fore-end tip. Front and rear sling swivel studs are installed, and a rubber recoil pad is fitted. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, delivering a full-size fit.
