The Nova Tactical uses a robust pump-action system with a rotating multi-lug bolt head that locks into the barrel extension. A forend shell-stop/magazine cutoff control provides quick administrative handling, and a cross-bolt safety offers straightforward operation.
Its 18.5 in steel barrel features a fixed cylinder choke (CYL bore) with no vent rib. Open rifle sights consist of a barrel-mounted front blade and rear notch for clear sighting. The matte blued finish supports low-glare performance.
The shotgun is chambered for 2 3/4 in or 3 in shells and is also rated for 3 1/2 in shells. Listed capacity is 2+1. The length of pull measures 14.0 in, aided by a recoil pad for a stable shoulder fit.
