The Model 700 ADL action provides Remington's three rings of steel arrangement around the cartridge case head, a recessed bolt face, and a strong steel receiver, complemented by a jeweled (engine-turned) bolt body.
The 22 inch sporter-contour steel barrel has a crowned muzzle for protection and accuracy consistency. Iron sights include a ramped front blade (no hood) and an adjustable rear sight mounted on the barrel.
The walnut stock features a Monte Carlo comb with a right-side cheekpiece, crisp checkering, a checkered pistol grip, sling swivel studs, and a black buttplate. Length of pull is 13.25 inches for a traditional hunting-rifle fit.
Feeding is via a blind internal box magazine with a 4+1 capacity. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle comes with two-piece scope bases and 1 inch rings already installed for straightforward optic mounting.
