The USC is the civilian derivative of HK's UMP and retains the straightforward, semi-automatic, simple blowback system in .45 ACP. German nitro proof and Ulm proof-house marks are present, along with the Heckler & Koch Inc., Sterling, VA import mark, underscoring its German manufacture and early import history.
The reinforced polymer receiver and frame are finished in light gray, matching the fixed, skeletonized thumbhole stock. An integral rear sling point is built into the stock for convenient carry options. The carbine is full-size with a 14.5-inch length of pull.
Its 16-inch cold hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and has an unthreaded muzzle. This configuration pairs durability with a clean internal bore profile. The manual safety provides simple, positive control.
A factory-style top Picatinny accessory rail is installed for mounting compatible accessories. Capacity is 10+1, and the package includes two factory 10-round magazines specific to the USC.
