This magnum-length Ruger Precision Rifle (SKU/MPN 18080) is chambered in .338 Lapua and uses a robust 3-lug bolt with an approximately 70-degree throw and an in-line recoil path for smooth cycling. The detachable magazine system accepts AI-style (AICS/CIP-length) magazines, and capacity is 5+1.
The 26 inch barrel is 4140 chrome-moly steel with a heavy contour, cold hammer-forged construction, and 5R rifling. It has a 1:9.375 inch right-hand twist and is threaded 3/4-24, fitted at the factory with a Ruger Magnum Muzzle Brake.
The chassis uses 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish. The stock is left-folding and offers tool-less adjustments for length of pull and cheek height, plus buttpad height adjustment, an integrated bag rider, and a bottom Picatinny rail. An AR-style polymer grip and ambidextrous safety are included, with length of pull presently set at 14.75 inches.
An 18 inch free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides mounting space and includes integrated QD sling sockets and a 1.50 inch RRS-compatible dovetail. Up top, the rifle ships with a factory 30-MOA canted Picatinny scope rail. The rifle is configured with no sights.
