Ruger LCP Gen 1 .380 ACP Micro Pistol, 2.75 in Barrel, Green Frame/Silver Slide, 6+1 (2010)
This first-generation Ruger LCP was manufactured in 2010 and pairs a green glass-filled nylon frame with a silver steel slide. It uses a DAO, hammer-fired locked-breech system in a micro footprint, with a 2.75 in barrel and standard 6+1 capacity. The pistol includes a single 6-round magazine and comes with a Ruger factory box bearing matching-serial stickers. It was produced well after the 2008 safety recall period.
The LCP Gen 1 layout is streamlined and purpose-built. It features fixed, integral sights with a front blade and rear notch, and rear vertical slide serrations for purchase. By design, it omits an external slide release lever.
Dimensions remain compact and carry-friendly: approximately 5.16 in overall length, 0.82 in width, and about 9.4 oz unloaded. This micro-size format complements the .380 ACP chambering and the pistol’s single-column 6-round magazine.
Construction details include a steel barrel and slide, with the frame molded from durable glass-filled nylon. The included magazine is marked ".380" and "MADE IN ITALY" and wears a finger-extension floorplate for added control.
