This Model 444 was produced in 1970 and bears the "70" serial prefix associated with that year. It is built on a blued steel receiver with side ejection and feeds via a right-side loading gate into a 5-round under-barrel tubular magazine. Two barrel bands secure the barrel and magazine for a traditional Marlin profile.
The 24-inch round barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling and is finished in blue to match the receiver. The bore condition is excellent, with sharp rifling and a mirror finish.
