This variant pairs a 5-inch barrel with a black finish, an optic-cut slide with cover plate, a flat-faced skeletonized trigger with a crisp 90-degree break, and an 18+1 capacity. Aggressive front and rear serrations, a top lightening window, MIL-STD-1913 rail, and flared magazine well round out a feature set aimed at competition-focused shooters.

The Rival-S Dark Side uses a steel frame finished in black to deliver a planted feel and excellent balance. Interchangeable textured grip panels with the RIVAL motif allow the shooter to tune grip size while maintaining traction and control. A flared magazine well supports quick reloads.
The slide features an optic cut with a cover plate, deep front and rear serrations for confident manipulation, and a top lightening window. Iron sights include a red fiber-optic front and an adjustable, serrated square-notch rear for a clean sight picture.
Its striker-fired system incorporates a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger with short takeup and a distinct 90-degree break, complemented by a trigger safety and a cocked-striker status indicator. Capacity is 18+1, supported by five factory steel magazines.
