Built on a Caspian frame and slide in stainless, this full-size Government model uses a 5-inch Nowlin bushing barrel chambered in .45 ACP. The result is a classic 1911 layout with premium barrel fit and a full-length guide rod for consistent cycling. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazine.
The sighting system is set up for precision with a fully adjustable target rear sight and a red fiber-optic front blade, both dovetailed. A lowered and flared ejection port complements the slide’s rear cocking serrations and ball-end-mill nose cuts.
Controls and ergonomics are thoughtfully upgraded: an upswept beavertail grip safety with memory bump, an extended left-side thumb safety, and a long, lightened three-hole aluminum trigger paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The blended extended magazine well funnel speeds reloads while maintaining clean lines.
Grip is secure and hand-filling thanks to Pachmayr wrap-around finger-groove rubber panels with wood accents and medallions. Markings include Caspian Arms Wolcott VT USA on the frame and the Caspian laurel C logo on the slide. Made in the USA.
