This custom Surgeon Model 591 pairs a precision 6.5x47 Lapua chamber by E. Spears (.294 inch neck, .150 inch freebore) with a 26 inch heavy/straight barrel and a McRee's Precision R7S-TMAG aluminum chassis. The short action features an integral 1913 Picatinny rail and integral recoil lug, a spiral-fluted bolt, and a radial-port muzzle brake. It wears a two-tone finish with an OD-green barreled action and an FDE/tan chassis, and includes a detachable 5-round magazine.

The Surgeon Rifles Model 591 short action is built on a 4140 steel receiver with an integral 1913 Picatinny rail and integral 0.250 inch recoil lug. It uses a spiral-fluted, two-lug bolt with a plunger ejector and a polished cylindrical bolt knob. Receiver markings include PRAGUE, OK MODEL 591.
The barrel is a 26 inch heavy/straight contour with a custom 6.5x47 Lapua chamber by E. Spears of Ocala, FL, configured with a .294 inch neck and .150 inch freebore and a 1:8 twist. A barrel plaque notes 6.5x47 Lapua .294 NK .150 FB 8T twist E. Spears Ocala FL. The threaded muzzle is fitted with a radial-port brake.
The barreled action is installed in a McRee's Precision R7S-TMAG aluminum chassis with a slotted forend and multiple tapped holes. The chassis includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable butt assembly with a bag-rider cutout, an AR-pattern pistol grip, and a Limbsaver recoil pad. Length of pull is set at 13.5 inches.
Feeding is via detachable box-magazine bottom metal with a 5+1 capacity. The rifle carries a two-tone finish with an OD-green barreled action and an FDE/tan chassis. Made in the USA.
