The Sendero configuration centers on a heavy, non-fluted 26" barrel with a matte finish, threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a multi-port brake. The barrel is marked "7MM REM. MAG. SENDERO" and carries the Remington Arms Company, Inc., Ilion, N.Y., U.S.A. manufacturer line.
Chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag., this rifle uses a 3+1 internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate. It features a right-hand, dual-lug bolt and the Model 700's "three rings of steel" cartridge head enclosure.
The composite stock is finished in black with gray webbing and incorporates an aluminum bedding block for added rigidity. It has a beavertail fore-end, straight comb, semi-pistol grip, and a rubber recoil pad, along with sling studs front and rear. Length of pull is 13.5".
The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle comes with two-piece bases and 1-inch rings already installed. It has no iron sights, aligning with the precision-focused Sendero setup.
