Chambered in .22 WMR, this Golden Boy variant is built around a 20.5 in octagonal blued steel barrel with a 1:16 twist and an overall length of 39 in. The large-loop lever provides the distinctive look and cycling feel associated with this submodel.
The polished brasslite receiver contrasts with the deep blued barrel and complements the brass-colored buttplate and forend band. American walnut stock and forend with a straight grip round out the traditional profile. The rifle weighs approximately 6.75 lb and has a 14 in length of pull.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with a dovetailed front post featuring a brass bead and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator. A hammer 1/4-cock notch provides a simple, integrated safety feature.
Feeding is via a tubular magazine with a removable inner tube. Markings include the model designation "MODEL H004ML" on the receiver bottom and "CAL. 22 MAG" with the barrel address "HENRY REPEATING ARMS – RICE LAKE, WI – MADE IN USA" on the barrel.
The Golden Boy series earned Guns & Ammo's Rifle of the Year recognition in 2001, underscoring the platform's design and execution. This example, made in the USA, reflects that pedigree with its materials, finish, and configuration.
