The action’s 3-lug, 60-degree bolt throw, spiral-fluted bolt, and oversized knob deliver fast, confident cycling in a right-hand configuration, with a receiver Picatinny rail ready for your scope.

Built in the USA as a purpose-driven custom, this rifle combines the Curtis Custom Axiom short action with a Masterpiece Arms BA-series chassis for a rigid, feature-rich foundation. The action uses a 3-lug, 60-degree bolt with an M16-style extractor for strong, reliable primary extraction. A spiral-fluted bolt and oversized textured knob aid smooth manipulation, while the 416 stainless steel receiver wears a Picatinny rail for straightforward scope mounting.
The Masterpiece Arms BA-series chassis is 6061 aluminum and finished in black. It integrates the RAT 1.5-inch dovetail along the bottom for accessory interfaces, and the ventilated aluminum fore-end includes a short Picatinny section up front. The fully adjustable buttstock offers an adjustable cheek riser, length of pull, and buttpad height and cant, plus a rear bag rider to fine-tune support.
The barrel is an MPA heavy-profile .308 Win tube, 26 inches in length with a 1:10 twist and a match-grade chamber. It is threaded and fitted with an American Precision Arms "30 CAL" muzzle brake for effective recoil management. This configuration prioritizes stability and consistency while accommodating common .30-caliber projectile weights.
Feeding is via the AICS-pattern detachable magazine system, and one Accurate-Mag 5-round magazine is included for a 5+1 stated capacity. A short Picatinny section on the fore-end supports accessory placement, and a carbon-fiber bipod is included (installed) to pair with the chassis’ RAT dovetail setup when desired.
