The FireFly combines a zinc-alloy slide with an alloy frame overmolded in polymer, keeping weight manageable while providing a solid feel. Its matte black slide and black frame present a uniform, low-glare finish. Textured black polymer grips with a molded GSG medallion offer a secure hold.
The 4.76 in threaded steel barrel uses a fixed-barrel, simple blowback system for reliable operation. A knurled thread protector is fitted to the muzzle. This configuration makes the pistol straightforward to maintain and consistent on the range.
