The PX4 Storm Compact uses a DA/SA, short-recoil locked-breech system with a rotating barrel. This design is a hallmark of the PX4 line and is executed here in a compact format with a 3.27 inch barrel.
Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger. The steel magazines feature orange followers and witness holes numbered to 15. A standard, reversible magazine release supports varied shooter preference, and the external spurred hammer provides clear control feedback.
Controls and safety are comprehensive, with a manual safety/decocker and a firing pin block. The slide wears a Bruniton finish with front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
The fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame is finished in black and includes interchangeable backstraps for fit tuning. A molded lanyard point is integrated at the lower rear of the frame, and the grip panels display Beretta trident medallions.
Sight arrangement is a 3-dot white set, dovetailed and drift-adjustable for windage. A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with one slot is molded into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or accessories. Markings indicate manufacture in Italy, Gardone V.T.
