This Templar Arms TAR-15 stands out with its white-coated receiver set and handguard featuring a bold tan 'Come and Take It' cannon-and-star motif. It uses a direct-impingement system with a slick-side upper that deletes the forward assist while retaining a brass deflector and dust cover. A 15.9 in threaded barrel with a compact ported brake is installed, and ambidextrous safety and magazine release controls are factory-configured. Polymer flip-up sights, a free-float M-LOK handguard, and included sling hardware round out a well-equipped AR-15 pattern pistol.

The TAR-15 is built on an AR-15 platform with a direct-impingement gas system and a low-profile gas block. Its slick-side upper omits the forward assist, and it includes a brass deflector and an ejection-port dust cover. The 15.9 in barrel is threaded at the muzzle and comes fitted with a compact ported brake/compensator.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard features an anti-rotation interface and short 12 o'clock Picatinny sections for accessories. QD sling points are set up at the handguard and at the receiver extension, and a rifle sling is included and ready to mount.
Controls are ambidextrous for both the safety and the magazine release, and a Magpul pistol grip is installed. The gun uses the standard STANAG/AR-15 detachable magazine interface and includes a windowed Magpul PMAG. Capacity is 30+1 with 5.56mm NATO.
Finish and markings include a white-coated receiver set and handguard with the large tan 'Come and Take It' motif. The lower is marked 'TAR-15' and 'MULTI CAL.', and the manufacturer roll mark reads 'TEMPLAR RIFLE COMPANY, SPRING, TX USA' accompanied by the knight-and-shield logo. Polymer flip-up front and rear sights are installed.
