The M9A3 combines the 92 Series lineage with modern upgrades, including an extended, threaded barrel with a knurled thread protector (1/2x28 UNEF) and drift-adjustable, dovetailed sights. Its open-top slide with external extractor, ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, and automatic firing-pin block reflect Beretta’s emphasis on reliability and safety.
Built on an aluminum-alloy Vertec-style frame with frontstrap and backstrap checkering, the pistol ships with thin two-panel grips and includes a Beretta wrap-around grip module to tailor the feel. An enlarged, checkered magazine release supports quick changes, and the lanyard loop adds secure retention options.
The slide and frame wear an FDE finish, and the slide is marked “MOD. M9A3 – CAL. 9mm Para – PATENTED.” and “BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. GALLATIN, TN – MADE IN USA” with the PB logo.
A three-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or lasers. The universal slide architecture is factory-capable of conversion between FS (safety/decocker) and G (decocker-only) configurations.
