The KR-103 uses a stamped steel receiver with the classic AK dimpled magazine well and a smooth-pattern top cover. Its long-stroke gas piston system is paired with a forged front trunnion and forged carrier, aligning with proven AK architecture in a U.S.-manufactured package.
The 16.33 inch barrel is chrome-lined and works with a 90-degree gas block. Up front, the rifle has a bayonet lug under the front sight base, an M24x1.5 front sight base interface, and an AK-74/100-series two-chamber muzzle brake retained by a detent.
Furniture includes a fixed black polymer stock with a 13.0 inch length of pull and a rear sling swivel, a black polymer pistol grip with checkering, and black polymer handguards with horizontal ribs. The magazine release is the standard paddle-style design.
Sighting is via a hooded front post and an adjustable tangent rear sight. A right-side AK side rail provides an attachment point for compatible optics mounts. The rifle accepts standard AK-pattern 7.62x39 magazines and has a stated capacity of 30+1.
