The PA-63 operates on a simple blowback system with a DA/SA trigger and an external ring-spur hammer. Controls include a push-button magazine release on the left side and a slide-mounted safety/decocker. Capacity is 8+1 rounds in 9x18mm Makarov. This model follows the proven PP-pattern design and omits an external slide-stop lever by design.
Its two-tone appearance pairs a blued slide with a natural silver aluminum-alloy frame. The slide carries anti-glare serrations along the top, and the sights are fixed, with an integral front blade and a dovetailed rear notch. Checkered black synthetic grips with a left thumb-rest provide a secure hold.
Dimensions are compact and carry-friendly: a 3.9 in barrel, approximately 6.9 in overall length, and an unloaded weight of about 21 oz. These measurements, along with the blowback system and 9x18mm chambering, define the PA-63’s well-known handling characteristics.
Made in Hungary, this pistol bears the Hungarian crest with a "78" indicating its 1978 acceptance, along with HUNGARY country marks. It carries the C.A.I. GEORGIA VT import mark from Century Arms. This example comes with two steel single-stack magazines featuring finger-rest baseplates, plus a Hungarian military-pattern leather flap holster with an integral spare-mag pouch.
