The optics-ready slide uses the RMSc/Holosun-K footprint and ships with a cover plate installed when no optic is mounted. Serrations at the front and rear, plus a top serration panel, provide confident manipulation. The stainless-steel slide wears a protective finish and carries factory markings including 9mm Luger and the caution that it is capable of firing with the magazine removed.
A lightweight aluminum-alloy frame anchors this single-action-only, hammer-fired design. The external hammer, enhanced trigger pack with a crisper break and improved reset, and a push-button magazine release support precise, controlled shooting. Ambidextrous manual thumb safety and an ambidextrous slide stop cater to left- and right-handed users.
The 3.6 in barrel pairs with an overall length of about 6.6 in and a width of about 1.12 in, landing the CSX E-Series firmly in the micro class. Unloaded weight is about 23.5–23.6 oz. The ClearSight barrel-hood cut is intended to help keep an optic’s window cleaner during extended firing.
Dovetailed white-dot iron sights (front white-dot, rear square-notch) come installed. Capacity is 15+1, and this example includes two 15-round magazines and one 12-round magazine in factory extended and shorter baseplate styles.
