Built on the AK-74 platform with a stamped-steel receiver, this SLR-104UR uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system in the compact AKS-74U configuration. The receiver carries Arsenal – Las Vegas, Nev., U.S.A. import marks and Bulgarian manufacture markings, including the factory text "Model SLR 104UR Cal 5.45x39.5 Made in Bulgaria." Selector markings are present on both sides, and a receiver-mounted optic side-rail is installed.
The 8.5 inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and factory threaded 24x1.5 mm RH. A knurled cylindrical muzzle extension is installed, and a cone-style muzzle device is included uninstalled. The short gas system and compact format reflect the classic AKS-74U layout.
Sight regulation follows the pattern: a protected front post integrated with the gas block and a two-position flip rear sight on the top cover. Furniture includes ribbed black polymer handguards and a black polymer pistol grip. Side-folding rear-trunnion hardware is present on the receiver, and no stock is installed.
ALG AK Trigger Upgrade: an ALG Defense AKT-E trigger is installed, and the original OEM trigger is included. Capacity is 30+1 with the included Circle 21 polymer AK-74 magazine, and an AK-pattern web sling is provided.
