This standard non-T.O.R.O. variant has no optic cut and comes with two 11-round magazines and a spare interchangeable backstrap.

The GX4 is built around a stainless-steel internal chassis within a black polymer frame. The molded grip texture with the Taurus bull logo and the interchangeable backstraps help dial in a consistent, secure hold, while the molded indexing and recoil pad on the frame further aid control.
Its 3.06 in stainless-steel barrel is DLC-coated and uses 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 RH twist. The slide is gas-nitride treated with a matte black finish and cut with front and rear diagonal cocking serrations for confident manipulation. This standard non-T.O.R.O. configuration has no optic cut.
The pistol is equipped with steel sights: a white-dot front post and a serrated square-notch rear that is drift-adjustable. Glock-pattern sight dovetails expand sight-fit options. Safety features include a trigger safety, a striker block, and a loaded chamber inspection port.
Controls are straightforward with a left-side push-button magazine release and a flat-faced trigger that incorporates a central safety lever and a short, tactile reset. The double-stack design yields 11+1 capacity. Approximate dimensions are 6.05 in L x 4.40 in H x 1.08 in W, with an unloaded weight about 18.5–18.7 oz.
