The 22 in barrel is paired with an under-barrel tubular magazine for a 15+1 capacity. Right-side ejection with a reciprocating bolt handle keeps operation straightforward and familiar to Model 60 users.
Iron sights include a hoodless ramped front with brass bead and an adjustable folding rear leaf with a stepped elevator. The receiver top has 3/8 in tip-off scope grooves, and this rifle is equipped with a Bushnell Buckhorn Wide Angle scope.
The hardwood stock has a pistol-grip profile with no checkering and a black plastic buttplate, and the length of pull measures 13.5 in. The metal wears a blued finish. An IK barrel stamp signifies September 1967 production, and as a pre-1968 example it is noted as serial number exempt.
