This custom-configured KE Arms KE-9 stands out as a compact AR-9 pistol built on a dedicated Glock-magazine billet lower with Type III hardcoat anodized receivers. It features a 4 inch blowback 9mm system, a free-float M-LOK handguard with a full-length 1913 top rail, and a Shockwave Blade Stealth brace. A Bushnell AR Optics red-dot and flip-up iron sights are installed, and a fixed-mag compliance device requires opening the upper slightly to release the magazine.

The KE-9 uses a dedicated KE Arms Glock-magazine billet lower in Type III hardcoat anodized aluminum, paired with a slick-side upper that omits the forward assist and dust cover. The simple blowback 9mm bolt is marked G4-9, and the system is tuned around a compact 4 inch barrel with a recessed crown. The muzzle sits recessed within the handguard with no muzzle device visible.
Controls are fully ambidextrous where it counts, with paddle-style magazine release paddles and an ambidextrous safety selector. A fixed-magazine compliance device is installed; the rear takedown pin is labeled "OPEN/CLOSE" and the upper must be cracked open slightly to release the magazine.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides mounting flexibility and aligns with a full-length 1913 top rail. Furniture includes a Shockwave Technologies Blade Stealth polymer brace and a Magpul MOE-K2 grip for a secure, modern interface.
A Bushnell AR Optics red dot is installed for fast sighting, complemented by flip-up iron sights. The KE-9 lower interfaces with Glock-pattern magazines; five 10-round magazines are included. The lower does not provide last-round bolt hold-open without a compatible upper.
