What’s Included
- Davide Pedersoli Traditional Hawken .54 percussion muzzleloader
- Wooden ramrod with brass tip
The 28 inch full-octagon barrel features a recessed crown and a traditional browned finish. Brass furniture, including the buttplate, trigger guard, and thimbles, complements the half-stock, which is fitted with a left-side cheekpiece.
The lockplate and external hammer are color case-hardened, and the rifle uses a percussion drum-and-nipple bolster with a clean-out screw. It is a single-shot design with a capacity of one.
Double-set triggers provide a crisp, adjustable trigger setup appropriate to the Hawken pattern. The length of pull measures 14.5 inches.
Sighting is via open iron sights: a barrel-mounted buckhorn/elevator-style rear sight and a dovetailed front blade, keeping the sight picture in line with period-correct configuration.
Made in Italy by Davide Pedersoli, this is a faithful reproduction of the Hawken style, executed with traditional materials and finishes.
