The action is semi-automatic, direct impingement. Controls include a short-throw safety selector, a two-stage match flat-faced trigger, and an ambidextrous charging handle with an extended latch. The receiver set is purpose-built without a forward assist and includes an integral brass deflector.
Construction centers on 7075-T6 aluminum with a clear hard-coat anodized finish. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides a rigid mounting surface, and the upper includes a continuous top rail.
